    16th January 2012

The year of 2012 has not come yet, it’s still a few months away, but it doesn’t make difference for the automotive manufacturers to race to the endless finish line. We’ve found out many 2012’s cars that have been introduced, tested and reviewed, although we can never see it running down the city roads or even the most sumptuous car market in the world, until this year passes into next year. But it’s a normal case, giving and stimulating the costumers the information on the cars they’ve been expecting for. So is Bentley, one of the biggest luxury car brand from Your Majesty’s England, which will introduce its latest generation The 2012 Bentley Continental GT. The car itself will be introduced to the world at The Paris Motor Show on October 2011. Arguably, the GT is priced lower than its competitors such as BMW and Jaguar. The seats can be specified with front-seat ventilation as well as a state-of-the-art massage system with 10 individual massage cells.  The Continental’s two-passenger backseat has gained a little more legroom, mainly due to the front seats. The driver will be happy with a mix of traditional instruments and modern LCD readout market segment.of the past, Bentley’s design team under the leadership of Director of Design, Dirk van Braeckel, has created a thoroughly modern, sculptured body which was built with advanced production technologies to ensure the highest standards of quality and body integrity. Aluminum super forming body is employed to create the front wings and the boot lid. The 2012 Bentley Continental GT look now is bolder than ever. The classic Bentley matrix radiator is more upright, while the new headlamp design has exquisite jewel-like detailing including eye-catching, LED daylight-running lamps. The shape of the GT coupe’s body is also more aerodynamic following extensive wind tunnel analysis. The GT’s coefficient has been reduced to 0.33Cd and the lift at the front and rear axles has also been reduced to create greater stability at higher speed. “The new GT coupe has an even stronger sporting character than ever before. It is an exceptionally refined and comfortable 2+2 Grand Tourer but with the heart, soul and a look like a supercar.” Said Dirkcomes with two version of distinctive high-performance engines. The original version is 6.0 liter W12 powertrain and the optional 4.0 liter V8 engine. The W12 engine has a unique ‘W’ configuration. It is the most compact and technologically advanced 12-cylinder engine in the world. The engine generates 567 hp at 6000 rpm and 515 lb-ft of torque at 1700 rpm. Both engines are mated with 6-speed automatic transmission. In 2008,. Bentley announced an environmental program of the improvement in the powertrain efficiency and the use of Bentley model range of FlexFuel technology by 2012. The FlexFuel models are capable of delivering potential CO2 reductions up to 70 percents. The Continental GT accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 198 mph.
