Comfortable interior and it’s very refined road manners
13th November 2009
Buick. Its most notable attributes are in its soft, comfortable interior and it’s very refined road manners. Up to six full grown adult passengers can enjoy a versatile list of standard luxurious amenities - and feel safely confident knowing that the Lucerne has once again earned 5-star crash test ratings from the NHTSA. The Honda Accord, Hyundai Azera, Mercury Grand Marquis and Toyota Camry are all doing their best to act unaffected
David Dunbar Buick incorporated the Buick Motor Company in 1903, and the car maker has upheld its history of innovation very well since then. In fact, the success of this company began with the overhead valve engine, which was later advertised as the valve-in-head engine, and it continued from there, with Buick eventually becoming not only the largest car manufacturer in the US, but also the base for the General Motors Corporation.
Both before and after the creation of GM, Buick was a pioneer in the automobile industry, bringing its use sweepspears, hardtops, portholes and muscle cars into commonality, and becoming an integral part of American culture.
The has a sophisticated, upscale look. Its clean lines are fluent and it handles all driving situations encountered with confident, precise responsiveness. On the inside, all occupants are wrapped in luxury. Soft materials, beautiful design strategy, noticeable elegance and easy-to-understand controls make driving - or riding - a sheer pleasure.
The 2010 Buick Lucerne is a very impressive luxury sedan that is still able to be afforded by the masses. You can take it for granted that Buick durability, dependability, styling and performance are all well in place.
The LaCrosse has an insanely fussed-over interior. Example: The dash material is synthetic leather but it’s French stitched with real thread.
In the cabin, the two-tone materials are bisected by a lyric bow of ambient lighting and wood grain that plays into the doors, looks great, especially at night.
No corners are gracelessly cut here — no ugly cover plates, no exposed fastener buttons and the barest minimum of seams.
Every trim level of the 2010 Lucerne is delivered with standard safety features including the Stabilitrak system for electronic stability control, electronic traction control, Lane Departure Warning, 4-wheel ABS, an ultrasonic system for rear parking assistance, tire pressure monitoring, Side Blind Zone Alert, loads of airbags - and OnStar roadside assistance. Umm, did you read that part where all of those are standard?
Buick Lucerne continues building Buick’s fine reputation for handsome styling, unmatched dependability and loads of standard features for luxury - all at very affordable pricing. The Lucerne is the elegant flagship model sedan for Buick.
